My stay at this hotel was a mix of good and bad experiences. The location is great for accessing transportation and local restaurants, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were quite small, and there were some significant noise issues that affected my sleep. Additionally, while I appreciated the free smartphone provided, the breakfast options were repetitive and not very exciting.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were on the smaller side, and while they had good amenities, they might not be ideal for everyone. They were clean but lacked some standard conveniences.
Service
7.0
The service was oriented towards being helpful, especially with luggage handling. However, I encountered an issue with the bathroom facilities that went unaddressed during my stay.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in an excellent area, just a short walk from Ueno Station and surrounded by many restaurants and shops. However, the evenings do get quite noisy due to nearby izakayas.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was not great, with the same limited menu every day. I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it when better options are available nearby.
Facilities
6.0
There were some helpful facilities, like laundry and a spa, but the layout of the buildings was inconvenient, requiring walks across the street to use them.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is ideal, with easy access to transportation and local eateries. My room was clean but unexpectedly small. The spa facilities didn't meet my expectations, and I felt that it lacked sufficient security. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I wouldn't say it was worth the price.

We had a decent stay at the hotel, with a spacious balcony and easy access to great dining options nearby. The room was good for our family, but I felt the hotel had some issues with cleanliness and security. Overall, it was a mixed experience, and I might reconsider staying here if I come back to Ueno.

Rooms

Our twin-sharing room had a spacious balcony with outdoor seating, which was perfect for relaxing. However, I did need to pay attention to room sizes since some are quite small.
Service

I found the service to be acceptable, but there were moments when the staff attitude could have been better. It felt a bit off when I had to ask for sheet changes and the staff seemed rushed.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from Ueno station and surrounded by plenty of food options, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining

The on-site BBQ restaurant was a highlight, but I would suggest keeping the balcony doors closed, as the scents from grilling can be overwhelming.
Facilities

The onsen on level 2 is a nice feature, providing relaxation after a long day, but I was concerned about the access it allowed to non-guests.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, especially because of its amazing location. It was incredibly convenient to get to Ueno Park and multiple train stations. The staff was very attentive and provided excellent service during my visit. However, I experienced some cleanliness issues in my room, and the shared spa access made me feel a bit uneasy about security at times.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, enjoying its great location near Ueno Station and access to numerous restaurants and attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though a bit compact, and I was delighted with the public bath facilities. However, I felt the service could use some improvement, especially at the front desk. The breakfast didn't quite match the price, and I wish there were more tea options available in the room. Overall, it was a solid choice but there are areas that could be enhanced.

Rooms
8.0
The standard double room was compact but clean and well-equipped with modern amenities, though I wished they offered tea instead of just instant coffee.
Service
6.0
While housekeeping was very amiable, the front desk staff initially came off as a bit smug, which was a letdown.
Location
10.0
This hotel's location is unbeatable, being close to Ueno Station, various metro lines, and local attractions like Ueno Park and Ameyoko Market.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast buffet was decent, but I didn't find it worth the 1,000 yen I paid, and I expected more variety.
Facilities
8.0
The public bath was a great feature, offering a clean and relaxing environment, but I didn't have time to enjoy it fully.
